Square Enix has just annouced that the much beloved GATE 'The Slice is Right' will have its chance to appear halved from 2x per hour to 1x per hour. I woke up and immediately checked the schedule because I really wanted to squeeze in a round before work but then I remembered what they are trying to do to us. The silence from the devs is honestly deafening and I keep imagining them sitting in their offices calculating how much fun we are allowed to have per hour. If they think we are just going to stop showing up for the best mini-game in Eorzea then they have another thing coming.

I really thought this might just be me shouting into the void but seeing how many people actually care about our GATE is honestly surreal. It feels like we might actually have a shot at getting them to listen because the momentum is just building up so fast and that is wild.

Slice is the best part of the saucer! Don't take away our fun! Nerf leap of faith if anything
It's the funnest game in terms of skill and success. Always feels really good to win and get streaks going.
Only a 33% chance every hour is too low for arguably the most fun game in the saucer!
How could you do this, it's just unfair to those who base our whole existence around the joy of Slice. In the Trolleys name keep Slice the same!
Why limit the best mini-game ever made thats also the best way to trial out new members for your raid static?!? #SOS

Slice is the best minigame in the Saucer, hands down. It shouldn't be nerfed in this way; if anything it should be guaranteed to spawn at least once per hour.
