We don't need another cheap "drug store" in a classy mall with very few upscale restaurants in the CV area!! We're already overloaded with nearby drug stores!!

We are highly opposed to tearing down two of Chula Vista's most elegant restaurants and to change the look and feel of Eastlake Village.

I love going to Karina's and love the whole look and vibe of Village Walk. Please please don't get rid of these restaurants! I will not be shopping at CVS if it gets build there!

There is no need for a CVS at the village. Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Vons, and Rite Aid are only a few blocks away people can purchase their stuff such as medicine at those stores for a much more cheaper price.

Ridiculous to even consider this! Losing all sense of community & places for families to go eat locally. Will not be stepping foot into CVS if this happens. Absurd.

With Rite Aid and Walgreen's a few miles away we don't need another drug store. Stay classy Village Walk, keep the restaurants.

There aren't enough good quality restaurants in Eastlake. I can think of 3 including these two establishments. But on the other hand I know of 9 to 10 fast food chains all within 2½ miles of each other! We need FINE dining. With all the new developments being built, ie hotels, shopping centers and possibly sports venues we REALLY need to step up and have good quality food and entertainment. La Jolla is a great example of fine dining mixed with good entertainment. Imagine the revenue possibly being brought to this city! As it stands now we (the city of Chula Vista) is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars to La Jolla and downtown San Diego. We could be the fresh taste of Southern California! There are so many new and exciting restaurtuers probably biting at the bit to be the next big thing! I live here but will spend my money in downtown SD, La Jolla, and Del Mar. Why? Because we have NOTHING TO OFFER! And I know for a fact I'm not the only one. Stop holding this city back from being SO much more!

Village Walk is not the appropriate venue for a retail pharmacy. The proposed CVS Pharmacy is out of scale for the shopping center and will greatly detract from the ambiance and "quaintness" of Village Walk that nearby residents and other visitors have come to expect.

My wife and I watched the building of Via Lago;we talked with the owners during this process and enjoyed a meal there when it first opened. We have been regular customers of this fine establishment since its inception. Via Lago is a touch of Little Italy in the EastLake area! Removing this fine dining establishment from the community would be an insult to the residents of the area. We do not need a new dispenser of sundries and drugs. We do need to maintain a fine dining facility. Why not replace Broken Yolk with a CVS? .

As a military family used to moving around, East Lake/Otay Ranch and the Winding Walk shopping areas make our temporary home a comfortable and enjoyable experience. There are already 5-6 pharmacies in our area. So there is not a need for another. CVS will not provide more jobs for our economy nor will it bring in more revenue.
Via Lago and Karinas restaurants are a staple here in Chula Vista and to remove them would be like casting out a family member. It's sad and unnecessary.
Sudberry Properties, please reconsider your decision to cast out Via Lago and Karinas for a "stranger" that will not bring anything needed to the family table.

Sudbury Properties owns a well balanced and aesthetically pleasing mall destination. We believe the proposed changes eliminating the restaurants and putting in another pharmacy will damage not only the mall as a destination locale but also the other existing businesses, as well as the proposed CVS which will create three pharmacies within a half mile.
