Please keep the two non-chain restaurants! We don't need a CVS as we have a Rite-Aid and Walgreens within a mile. Eastlake has two many chains and definitely doesn't need another store with no character.

This is ludicrous. We do not need or want another drug store in the area. We love these two family-owned restaurants & the outdoor patios!! Did you not learn from the failures of the Design Center??? If you build it, WE WILL NOT COME!!!

We do not want a CVS nor do we need one. We will not be shopping there if it goes up. I will also make sure everyone I know in our community also does not shop there. Please listen to the Chula Vista residents that choose to live here.

instrad of tearing down those buildings, how about signing some full service restaurants- like a Mimi's Cafe? There is a great need for restaurants who serve breakfast in this area. Currently, we only have iHop and Broken Yolk. The last thing we need is yet another pharmacy or another bank!!

We don't want a CVS! We already have a Walgreens and will not support it if it wipes out our few restaurants we have in Eastlake

I am opposed to another CVS being built. I understand the city is growing but we don't need another corporate establishment ruining the small local business owners livelihoods. Just like we don't need another Starbucks and Panda Express in every shopping center. I don't shop at CVS, WalMart or any large chain, so why build another one. It will become an eyesore for traffic and will end up closing its doors because it won't recieve the kind of business they think it will be since so many are opposed to it. I hope the city council can reconsider the plans and keep Chula Vista looking it's best without being overrun with unnecessary stores. I appreciate the city council for the improvements they want to implement and am in hopes the two restaurants can remain in their current location. Thank you for listening.

Greed is the only reason I can see for giving the boot to 2 beloved restaurants for a national chain drug store. There is no need by the residents of Eastlake to have another pharmacy with Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and RiteAid in the immediate area. It's a shameful disgrace.

love Via Lago and Karinas. Love the outdoor dining I have met my clients friends and family there. Our center is in need of dining. Also very classy beautiful restaurants make this center a destination. Not a CVS. Very sad to hear if this.
