Our family will not be shopping at your new CVS due to the fact we are already established and very happy with another local pharmacy. Plus, the parking situation does not bode well for such a large retail establishment. Karinas and Via Lago are loved and wanted in our community. What type of marketing team decided on a CVS to be placed in lieu of such fine restaurants? Fire them immediately and listen to your customers. It's a bad decision and will not be supported.

i am an employee of a business in Village Walk. Why on earth would you take out two popular restaurants and replace with a CVS?!!! I understand money talks, but at some point common sense needs to click in. There is a Rite Aid less than a 1/4 mile away. It is not needed and would totally ruin the who ambiance of the complex. Please reconsider this decision.

We don't need a 4th drugstore within 1-2 miles. Keep the resturants for a family community.

Please do not replace our restaurants and gathering places with a CVS. We have few enough places to socialize in the south bay as it is, This is a very unique shopping center so please do not change it and bring in a CVS. It is not needed!

This is horrible! No one wants or needs another drug store in the area.

Hello, Removing these two restaurants is a terrible idea. You must work out a reasonable lease agreement and keep them there. A CVS is not going to draw in the residents you desire. We have plenty of pharmacies available. This shopping mall will not repair itself with a CVS. We need to keep the restaurants. I hope you change your minds and do what's right for our community! If you NEED to build a CVS, do it in all the NEW construction in Eastlake. Leave Karinas and Via Lago alone!! We LOVE those restaurants!! Don't ruin our community!!

Please do not replace our restaurants and gathering places with a CVS. We have few enough places to socialize in the south bay as it is, and more than enough pharmacy type stores. Via Lago is a great place to grab a drink or dinner or just have a happy hour with friends -- it would be a shame to lose our local gathering spot. If anything, we need MORE of these spots in Chula Vista!

I was saddened to learn that CVS has been proposed to take over two amazing local restaurants: Via Lago and Karina's. Not only do we not need any more drugstores in the Eastlake area, but pushing out local businesses hurts our community's economy and spirit. It also doesn't seem logical to have two viable businesses destroyed while a year's worth of construction is taking place when there is so much space in other areas of Eastlake that have room to fit a big box, such as CVS (the shops at San Miguel and the Otay Ranch mall to name two). Since moving to Eastlake in 2009, Village Walk has always impressed me with its attention to detail and function. The gorgeous fountain, koi pond, turtle sculptures, and play structure are all features that make me want to come back again and again with my children. Please reconsider the plans with CVS and know that if you go through with them, that CVS store will be boycotted by my family and much of our growing community.
