Don't tear it down we love those restaurants and the fountain! Its so beautiful to tear it down would be a shame. My family will never shop at any store that is put there.

my kids love going to that pond and seeing the fish and turtles. its such a beautiful place that reminded me of The Grove in LA. tearing this plave down and closing down those restaurants would be a huge diservice to our community and residents!!!!!!

There are plenty of pharmacy stores in the area. There is a Rite-aid less than a mile up the street. More local restaurants need to stay open.

I particularly question that the area/neighborhood "needs" a CVS. We have a Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target and Wal Mart all within about 2 miles. The decision to destroy that beautiful shopping center, which is one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood, is poorly thought out and shows a complete disregard for the community we are trying to build in this corner of Eastlake. Terrible idea, and I will go out of my way to avoid supporting a CVS in that location.

Many of us moved to the Eastlake community with the reassurance of a beautiful planned community. The Village shopping center is just that bit of serenity of both shopping and beautiful restaurants. Why would anyone choose to destroy this setting. It is Eastlake's Diamond!

This is my FAVORITE restaurant! The owner is so very nice and has selected excellent staff who are so very friendly and competent. This restaurant makes this strip mall have a quaint and cozy feeling. Please don't take that away from us!

Locally owned and operated business are one of the things that makes cities distinctive. The Southbay (and especially east Chula Vista, has historically been lacking in nice restaurants..there has NEVER been a lack of chain pharmacies. CVS may want a shot at the share of the market currently held by Rite-Aid & Walgreens,but there is an abundance of neighboring sources for prescriptions, vitamins, health & beauty products & other sundries..in that area..including Sprouts, Walmart & Target..there is simply NO NEED for a CVS. Please do what is right by your existing tenants and what is good for our communities.

please keep Via Lago and Karina's, restaurants I frequent on a regular basis, since they opened. A CVS does absolutely no good in a neighborhood already crowded with similar retailers. Don't be so in search of more money that you forget the the neighborhood you 'represent'. I, for one, will not go to CVS; there are already established drugstores where I can get what I need. But there are not enough unique (and excellent) restaurants like the ones you are kicking out.
