Keep the Whitman Cluster Additions on Track!

Please DO NOT delay the additions / renovations for Pyle and Whitman. We cannot afford to wait.

The proposed development in our neighborhood has become GREED of developers over READing and teaching of our students.

Who ever in MCPS is in charge of planning has done a miserable job for the last 30 years. No sooner are schools renovated, then portables are installed. It is outrageous that our children don't have the space in which to learn and eat. It is imperative that Pyle and Whitman get the much needed renovations for the increased number of children now attending these schools!

Please include the additions in the budget. They are greatly needed. Thank you.

My daughter has had to eat lunch in the hallway several times, which is unacceptable. The expansion needs to take place.

I live in this school district and pay taxes beyond my means for one reason: the schools. I also vote for officials who will spend my hard earned tax dollars on education which is, no doubt, societies best investment in a better life for all of us.

I wholeheartedly endorse this petition and urge the Council in the strongest possible terms not to delay funding for the Whitman and Pyle renovations and expansions. Our children are already in overfilled classrooms, and it will only get worse if current demographic trends continue.

As a Whitman Cluster parent it is appalling that the county is willing to approve a poorly considered Westbard Sector plan, with no consideration to the strain that will be placed on the entire Whitman Cluster! Please remember we vote.

Without this expansion our quality school will become a "used to be good" school. How can infrastructure fall behind?

I am a Whitman grad. so are both my kids. why in the world would you want to harm this world class school??

Please think about our kids and future seriously!!!

Our children deserve to have a positive and safe environment to learn. Overcrowding is a huge problem. This must be addressed now.

Overcrowding leads to sloppy teaching and sloppy behavior all around, Build the additions asap..

Maryland voters must vote for Bernie Sanders for president. The previous and current president continue spending billions in wars and helping financially foreign goverments such as Egipt, Israel, and many other countries.

Plan completely at odds with the proposed Berliner Westbard plan

As a parent I am concerned about overcrowding of our schools and its impact on our children. As an MCPS teacher, I see first hand the impact an overcrowded facility has on the ability for our children to receive the attention they deserve in the classroom. A deteriorating or inefficient facility also affects the morale of staff and students. Please consider moving forward with plans to renovate the schools in our cluster. Thank you.
