The Whitman / Pyle additions are critical to ease the projected overcrowding due to the continued area development. The schools are already at or over capacity. Your leadership in providing appropriate funding for these needed improvements is appreciated.

I'm a student at Pyle. The hallways are very crowded and it's hard to walk. Any additional people would make the classrooms too full as well.

Our family completely supports the additions for Pyle and Whitman. It honestly feels very unsafe at Pyle (where our daughter is). Thank you.

Please do not delay this project. There is no reason to deny this outstanding school the renovations it deserves and has been waiting for years to begin.

Any member of the County Council or the Board of Education who votes against these additions should try walking the hallways of these schools during school hours.

The building is crowded to an uncomfortable level. The space issues hurt our safety and productivity.

We have two 8 year old daughters and a 5 year old son who will attend Pyle and Whitman. The capacity constraints at both schools are a major concern for us. Taking the Whitman Cluster off track would be a tremendous mistake.

Our sons attended Pyle and Whitman. Great schools - and in need of more space even before these additional influxes of students.

It is critical for the education, social development and most importantly, the safety of our students that this project is kept on pace.

If the budget issues cannot be resolved, the Westbard Sector Plan should be adjusted accordingly. Projections for the plan assumed additions at both Pyle and Whitman.

The Pyle and Whitman additions should be kept on track for completion and NOT delayed!

Given the extremely high property taxes we pay, we expect effective action from the Council and the Board on the overcrowding problem which is already undermining the quality of education at Pyle. We, the voters, are waiting impatiently . . .

There are over 30 kids in some of my classes, and it makes it difficult to learn some of the material in class. We also get less individual attention for our needs.

I will sign this along with other petitions to stop the Toll brothers massive development and using my street as one of the major roads for massive traffic.

Please make wise and responsible decisions for the county residents and school children in your care--fund these necessary additions.

Overcrowded classrooms will lower the educational level of HS graduates from our schools and drive good teachers to flock other schools with reasonable class sizes.

Approving Westbard and delaying these additions are not good leadership.
