We moved our tax dollars from DC to MD when the promise of DC schools failed to materialize. We will not hestitate to take our tax dollars elsewhere if MoCo fails us on these vital Whitman Cluster improvements.

It is important our school facilities keep up with the increasing students.

The cafeteria at Pyle should be a priority. It is a disgrace, and the situation will only worsen with the Westbard development. It needs attention NOW.

My 10th grade son has 3 core classes with 33 or more students. Overcrowded is an understatement.

I live in the Churchill Cluster School service area, but support keeping additions to address overcrowding on track and on time for the Whitman Cluster. The county and state must support the top schools in the state. These high rankings help attract new businesses to the county. High ranking schools not only help our students, but excellent schools create desirable neighborhoods which is good for local businesses and real estate values.

These additions are needed already. Pyle and Whitman are both overcrowded.

please fund the Whitman/Pyle facility expansions necessary to accommodate the large # of students. I do not believe it is sanitary for children to eat lunches in hallways, especially when hallways often serve as the PE classroom as well.

boe recommendations are unconscionable in light of the overcrowding already evident at pyle and whitman

Pyle's utilization is currently over 119%. Enrollment is 246 students beyond the school's capacity, which is well beyond the 150 student threshold MCPS uses to identify middle schools in need of an addition.

Our County Council members and our School Board members need to demonstrate that they are synchronized in their planning and investments for our county. It is their duty and our money as taxpaying citizens.
