Keep the Whitman Cluster Additions on Track!

Please don't delay whitman Pyle additions. The schools are too overcrowded.

Properly sized facilities are paramount to a good learning environment. Whitman Cluster schools must be developed to support the current student population and anticipate the growth of up-coming classes. We are failing our students otherwise.

Please keep our schools from overcrowding.

We have one graduate and 3 currently enrolled at Whitman. Please maintain or even increase funding. It's desperately needed.

Please fund the addition to Pyle and Whitman to ensure our children will have their basic needs for their study.

A school with enrollment more than 50% over capacity such as Pyle is in dire need of expansion. By the time the Pyle project is carried out, Whitman will be similarly over capacity. PE classes in hallways?! Eating lunch on hallway floors and in classrooms?! My kids attended Pyle and Whitman over 30 years ago . These schools' populations have not gotten smaller. Priorities definitely need to be examined.

PE in hallways? Eating lunch on the floor? What does there have to be a petition to remedy this obvious lack of planning and attention to students' basic needs?

I support this petition. The educational needs of our children should be a priority

Please consider the growth in this part of the county and its impact on the student population at these two excellent schools. Both schools need additions to keep up.

I have a 7th grade daughter and twins coming 3 years behind her and these facilities are PACKED. Please expedite construction!

Please do not delay the planned Pyle and Whitman additions. Our students and staff deserve first rate and ample facilities now.

Especially at Pyle with its current conditions, and given growth projections at both schools, moving ahead with these additions seems critical. It would be great to have playable athletic fields too, but expansion of the school building itself should not wait.

Please make our children's education a priority.

Please don't delay these additions! Our kids deserve a solution to the overcrowding they are experiencing!

Montgomery County officials have approved the new Westbard development project as a result of lobbying from developers. This project will result in revenue for the county and will significantly increase school enrollment. Isn't it irresponsible for the county to siphon off these funds elsewhere rather than use them to release pressure on the neighborhood schools which are suffering from this new development and the increased enrollment? If our current delegates don't see this, maybe we need to elect different delegates.

We cannot afford to ignore the need for increased capacity. The future of our children is at stake.

Start taking care of taxpayers not the developers-this is getting out of hand.

I support the continued funding and implementation of all capacity projects at Pyle and Whitman schools.
