Keep the Olympic Mountain Bike Course!

The Olympic course at Hadleigh Farm is the only rocky mountain bike trail in the south east of England. The nearest similar facility is over 200 miles away. It provides a wonderful opportunity for the people of the south east to experience the type of trail biking popular in the hills of northern and western Britain.
We ask that Essex County Council leave the Olympic trail intact, including all the technical sections.
We welcome the addition of alternative routes to make the trail accessible to less experienced riders.
We recommend the use of standard trail-grading.
We hope that Essex County County will realise that we have been left with an amazing facility. To simplify the trail would be a waste. It would leave the people of the south east again, with nowhere to enjoy mountain biking over the type of terrain found in other parts of the country.
