I think they should definitely keep the name, it's well known throughout the Isles, why change it?

As the daughter of a former east bank nurse I strongly feel changing the name of the balfour, would be a right slap in the face to the community of Orkney.

Was born here and is the Balfour hospital on my birth certificate so why change the name as it part of everyone's history in Orkney

I say keep it. In memory of all ancestors changing the name just feels like we are turning our back on Orkneys history.

Absolutely no reason to change from the name, Balfour Hospital. Surely it will keep communications easier. Concentrate on the changes that will have to happen.

Why change the name . Everybody knows the hospital by this name and it has been this for a very long time.
