I think that a closed campus in completely not suitable for small-town Montrose. There are better ways to keep a school safe and holding students behind gates for 8 hours a day is not safe, it’s jail.

Closing campus is going to cause major problems and not going to prevent anything. Students and teachers will be unhappy, attendance will decrease, businesses will be affected, certain classes will not be available, and it will feel like we are in a prison.

I think that we should still have a open campus because we have a lot of kids at the high school and I think it’s better if we just have it that way it wouldn’t also be fair to the 8th graders who have been wanting and waiting to go off campus for lunch

I have a problem with the closing campus stuff. A lot of the businesses around depend on the high schoolers wallets at lunch, if you close campus it won’t give kids a chance to leave the school and come back with atleast a half fresh start rather than be stuck in all day and being bored the whole time

Closing the campus is ridiculous, MHS is just proving that they give they’re students no freedom and this is just going to make students be even more mad wanting to protest AGAIN and maybe even cause conflict between one another. Going off campus for lunch gives us freedom, most MHS students can’t even stand going to the high school for a whole day. This is just taking away our freedom, this is useless. The problem isn’t outside the school, it’s inside so now you want to lock us in with the problem and just make all the MHS students mad? Yea okay. Don’t do this, not a good idea!

It is demisnishing one issue and creating 5x the issues of students lives at montrose High School . No only for students but businesses , costing a lot of money , and demolishing the opportunity to ease our way in to having responsibility , starting with going off campus or driving .

I think we should be able to go have lunch with our friends or go get a pizza or go home for lunch as we want after working for a full hafe of the day in school

it’s already hard enough to deal with the stress at school. At least lunch gives us something to look forward to except the end of the day!!

This makes me hate Montrose even more. My friend on Florida (where I’m from) don’t have to be on lock down the whole day. It’s a small town and you guys doing this makes it ten times worse keeping us cooped up in the school that’s small. Don’t let us go out and get some air and good food keeping us at school just going to drain us and not wanting to be there anymore as much as it is. If you are really going to do this at least get qudba, Starbucks, tocobell, subway, lunch’s
