We, the people of Mebane, respectfully ask that the Bank of North Carolina (BNC) reconsider their decision to close the Mebane branch, currently, Randolph Bank. Too often, big business moves in and takes away the hometown feel of the privately owned, family run businesses. The employees at Randolph Bank have made us feel as if we are part of their families and not just an account number. By closing this branch and abandoning all who have greatly enjoyed doing business with the people of Randolph Bank, we may just choose to abandon BNC.
