MMYC has changed my life these past 5 months and I feel it would be a shame if it gets shut down because just like myself it could help so many youths out there

This has to be the worst time to allow our children and youth not to have a positive place to go! With all the negative things children can do please do not remove a positive place to help our youth! Please provide funding so that we do not have lives lost to the streets or worse!! Thank you for your time!

Graduate students need their summer jobs. Program participants need the graduate students. Don't put both people on the streets. <3

Please keep this program. It helps so many in the community who want and need the assistance. Not only the Latino community but lower income citizens as well. This program has help many through out the years and should continue to do so.

MMYC provides a most valuable service to our community by fostering at-risk youth to become contributing members of our society through education, job readiness training, guidance, and work opportunities. They engage the students individually and provide inspiration and support in a safe environment. Their 50+ high school graduates in May represent a savings to the government of $750K based on the $15K per student that Maryland spends on education each year. Taking away funding from a successful local non-profit program and giving it New York FOR-PROFIT company is unconscionable.

This center must remain open as it is the only resorces centers many people only have access to in that area

As a Latina doctoral student in a counseling psychology program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, who fights for social justice and serving underserved populations it would be a disservice to not fund MMYC. It is a center thats dedicated to empower youth and advocates for their community.

As a Latino, DACAmented resident living in Bethesda and alumnus of American University, I recognize the importance of organizations like MMYC in this area. We need to provide them with more funding, not less!

If we would be as quick to build a way out of poverty, as we are to build jails, this world would be a much better place!

We need this center to continue to be run by somebody that's is local nobody understands better then locals that see what's going on here, and the needs that the community have.
