Stacy was my niece. Her senseless murder continues to impact our family. No one should have to go the agony of the search for their missing child, only to be told she was found but was too decomposed to be viewed. Her mother is my sister. I don't have enough words to describe what this has meant in her life....and Stacy's brother, her father, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece she never met...her namesake. ....and countless close family friends. As I understand, Thomas Grant had already experienced life behind bars before her murder. His freedom cost my niece her life. Please don't place him out in a community of families to continue a path of crime.

By allowing a criminal to have freedom in the death of Stacy is cheapening the memory of the loss for this young ladies family.. He should never be allowed to breathe freedom..

He took her life from her in a horrific way. He took her from her family. One person choose to end anothers life . He doesn't deserve to have a life himself. What kind of example to we set to give him freedom after taking away the freedom of his victims. Once someone shows they are a monster and not human than it is up to our justice system to protect the common good and keep him out of society.
