The "Parklett " in question has provided cover and comfort for downtown shoppers and tourist visiting Lockhart, Texas. Total "Thumbs Up" to leave the structure and allow Alex to defray cost by paying a minimum parking fee to provide moneies to the city of Lockhart. Alex moved 'The Culinary Room, Little Trouble Cafe, Eldorado Cafe and The Culinary Kitchen into Lockhart proper and "The Culinary Kitchen" to Caldwell County in a very short time providing excellent food, seasonings, gifts, candies, etc. plus a commercial kitchen. A play on words " FOOD FOR THOUGHT"! We all should thank Alex for providing such interesting foods etc. to Lockhart, let alone the income and money that's been generated from her business venture into Lockhart. Lockhart is luckey to have such a wonderful person that thinks hgihly enough to move her business to Lockhart from Austin instead of other surrounding towns. Allow Alex to feel welcome to Lockhart by providing assistance in the "Parklett" concen and leaving the Parklett where it's located.

Please allow the parklett remain in place. I have enjoyed utilizing it, and have seen many people use it at all hours of the day. In my opinion, the good of the structure far outweighs the availability of 2 parking spots

Not only is this pretty little place in which to dine but helps to make the city's environment a bit better with its greenery. You should consider making this and others like it a permanent addition to your city.

I see no downside to keeping the outdoor seating and plenty of upside. Perhaps add a trash receptacle though.

YES, this is wonderful I live in Elgin and would so love if restaurants etc would do this. It is wonderful visual and inviting to not only the establishment but welcoming to downtown

Many locals as well as tourists enjoy this area for the resting spot, shade and a chance to enjoy a cool drink while people watching! I have spoken with several people sitting there who relish the spot while their partners shop.
