Fantastic set up this. Rick and his family and friends have worked hard for this. Dont destroy his/their buisness and livlihood as well as all the people that train here

The Lion’s Den is very important to the physical and mental wellbeing of the local community. In addition to that it’s part of the UK Obstacle Sports Federation Short Course competition so athletes visit from all over the country to take part in time trials. It would be a great loss to the community, the sport and the country.

The Den is a very friendly training facility and also great for families and in our present climate an ideal place to exercise and keep your mind and body healthy with the guidance of a fully qualified OCR Instructor.
Also many thousands of pounds has been raised for charities supporting mental health issues including Sane from events held at this venue.
So The Den must be allowed to keep going at all costs.

I have been with Raw fit now for some time and it has improved my asthma for me by keeping fit and also helped me improved my strength as my work is very physical. It would be a massive loss to the community if we lost this family run, friendly facility and in these uncertain times health and wellbeing are more important than ever.

It would be devastating to lose this facility. It offers so much to so many and there is nothing like this in the area. If anything it should be celebrated for actually addressing key issues that many of our community in Hastings area suffer, poor mental and physical health. It encourages children to be healthy and be part of a team. The council should be subsidising the Den and encouraging young people to get out in the fresh air, out of the town with their family and put their energy into something they can feel successful at.

A great place for people to get fit with a variety of obstacles. It is needed and you don't get many places like it. It needs to stay.

This is a superb family run facility and one of only a few in the country that offer this unique training and experience. A high amount of work has gone into providing what has proved to be a very successful fitness arena! To lose this facility would be a tremendous loss to everyone involved, the fully trained staff, the athletes and all the families and children that use it.

These facilities offer the chance for adults and children to engage in physical activity outdoors. We should be doing everything we can to keep this place open.

How can planning threaten such a positive facility that promotes wellbeing and fitness together? The 2 things we all need in these uncertain times.
