Come on local council , the amount of funding towards fitness and mental health in the NHS is absurd, places like this helps people to gain not only fitness and mental health awareness it provides friendships , motivation, fun and brings families together . I work in the nhs and the age of mental health has hit new lows in the young generation.

Right now getting outdoors for exercise and your daily dose of Vit D and fresher air is more important than ever before. Shutting places like this down will give a whole new pandemic to deal with, obesity.

Please allow the Lions Den to continue. The owner is my son in law and my grandchildren have benefitted immensely over the last six months. I also know of many people, including my daughter who are so grateful for the opportunity to get good excersise and fresh air. If I was younger and fitter I would have joined in too. It also engenders a real community spirit and togetherness that would otherwise be missing from these peoples lives.

It is a valuable place, one of the only kind in our area where you and train and enjoy outdoors, with family’s etc.. it is an important factor towards improving people’s mental health, which it did for me.

Exercise is so important for mental health. Being family friendly, this allows children to see their parents enjoying exercising. This is so important for exercise to be seen as positive and the norm, to encourage this through a child’s life.
