This is part and parcel of the general running down of services especially banking so that those who are not interested in computers or who like me consider the internet to fundamentally insecure and do not wish to use it are denied a long standing essential service.

The listings are helpful to elderly people who cannot use computers. Provided, of course, they they are correct!

I feel it would be such a shame if these public information notices became a thing of the past. Especially for the likes of my non-computer literate mother, but he reads the IT religiously (pardon the pun)

We feel this service is very important especially for all the elderly people who may not be computer literate and who attend church regularly.

There are many people who do not have computer skills, and check the IT to see where, what time service is, and who is preaching. It is a valuable service to those!

Please keep the Church Service Notices in the print edition of The Irish Times each Saturday. It is one of the reasons why many buy The Irish Times on a Saturday. Not everyone has access to a computer or is computer literate, and this service is essential.

On behalf of the Dun Laoghaire and Bray Methodist Churches, we wish Church Services to continue in the I.T. paper edition on Saturdays.

Please keep these important notices in the print edition. They are part of the reason I buy the Irish Times every weekend!

there are a lot of people depending on your paper to read notices not everyone has access to a lap top.

You have no idea how many people rely on having their hard copy of these notices. They are not the people who use online publications. In fact, if they did they wouldn't buy the paper, they would just use our website.

The church service listing is one of the first items I turn to in the Irish Times each Saturday. As well as providing very useful information for visitors, who may not always have access to a computer, it provides a link with the wider church community.

This is so important for people who may be traveling and wish to attend a service new to them or a simple call to worship.
