Most disappointed by this decision as visitors may wish to visit a,place of worship and this is an importance way of obtaining information on churches and times of Services

Please keep the notices of the Sunday church services in the paper as there are plenty of parishioners who rely on this service. Not everyone is up to speed with computers!

I am not in favour of the Irish Times decision to discontinue the removal of church services from the printed edition as many people find it useful

Please reconsider the removal of Church Services from your paper. There are many elderly folk who rely on this service who have not got a computer. Thanks.

As someone who forwards this information to the Irish Times for a Parish in Dublin I am not in favour of the Irish Times proposal to discontinue this facility. As stated by other objectors, many seniors who use this section in the Saturday edition will not or are unable to access the internet for this purpose. Please reconsider this move.

I am not in favour of the plan for the Irish Times to discontinue the printing of the Church Notices on Saturday editions. I am a daily user of the IT paper copy and regularly use this section for news of Church Services. Please reconsider this proposal.,

Print is print and is permanent, digital is cloud and ephemeral. Older people still and will always need to refer to the written word.

I understand the reasons for online, however for the small amount of the paper that this takes up i hardly see any real benefit. Obviously you are the experts. But i think where Internet is still sketchy in rural Ireland you would be giving them a dis service if you were to abandon them.

The usual excuse of 'being able to see it on line' is fine if you have a pc. What if somebody has no idea how to use a computer, but is well able to read?

It's really useful for those of us visiting Dublin to have easy access to the listings for Sunday - internet not always available to travellers!
