I have been a citizen of indianola for 31 years and always believed in the indianola Indians I am also part native American and see no discrimination to a town representing the native American people of this land no matter the origin of the tribe for that matter....so what if the team is not native American indians themselves they are representing for our hometown and if you do your research native Americans date back to prehistoric times in Iowa and Indianola geographic location https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Indians_of_Iowa just a small insite. I say if we are getting rid of the Indian mascot we better have a game changer mascot ready
