The flea market is why I shop up on the square on Sunday at places like dollar haven, finches etc. If the flea market is gone so will the money spent up there.

We go to Goderich every week for this. Grab coffee. Shop and walk. Buy lunch. Go to watch boats with kids. Do park. Dinner and then home

With no Sunday Market, the downtown businesses will suffer with less traffic.

I am so shocked that this decision should come from an association which by it's very nature, is designed to serve as an economic and social anchor to help stimulate and revitalize local business. I visit the Sunday market numerous times throughout the summer, bringing friends who are visiting Goderich, for the specific purpose of shopping and patronizing local restaurants. Please reverse this decision or at least, provide alternative organizers of the market in order for Goderich to continue to thrive as a tourist destination.

Where are the heads of the BIA. This is a tourist attraction that people look forward to every year. We do too along with our grandchildren when they are visiting. KEEP IT
If the vendors do not seem to get enough than maybe they should leave and make room for others.

The Sunday Goderich flea market makes Goderich come alive on Sundays. I cannot believe that the Goderich BIA has decided to withdraw their management of the Sunday flea market. The flea market is the reason I drive to Goderich not only to visit the flea market but also to shop and dine on the square.
