Going to the Flea Market on a Sunday is such a fun thing to do in Goderich. It is a great place to take people who are visiting and just to chat with someone you haven't seen for awhile. I can't believe the BIA would even consider discontinuing something that is so popular and draws so many people to the Square.

I use to be a vendor and enjoyed it so much. Until price for space got way to high. I still look forward in going every Sunday.

If the market leaves, so will alot of tourists. Grandbend market gives the town huge boost everyweekend goderich if organized and advertised could have the same results. Unreal that this town continues to destroy all things they have going for them.

The flea market is a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy unique finds and meet members of the community. It is currently centrally located and accessible. It is free advertising for businesses located on and around the square. I find it hard to believe vendors detract sales from local businesses; people know what they want to purchase and are generally particular about quality and styles, all of which vary between ANY business, from vendor to big box store to BIA boutique.

The Goderich Flea market has been popular for many years and it is a part of the Goderich culture. It and also brings in people from out of town who spend money at local stores (that are open, as well as restaurants). It does not take business away from the local businesses because most are closed on Sundays. It would be a terrible shame to lose this.

Showing my stance on keeping the Sunday market opened. I believe it is one of the major public venues Goderich has to offer. For 3 years I was a part of this Market ... I sold pies and baking goods. My table sold out most week ends. Lots of work but most enjoyable.

Keeping the flea market open on Sundays would be in the towns best interest. As it brings tourism and visitors to Goderich who will spend their money at local businesses and restaurants.

The BIA does not own Goderich. The town should not have to answer to the BIA. The town would be going in the wrong direction to allow itself to be controlled by the BIA and stop the flea market. It draws in visitors, why take an attraction away?

Just moved to Goderich this past June..enjoyed the Sunday market. Would be a disappointment not to have this flea market available in the Center.

As a newer resident to Goderich my family and I have always admired the beauty of the square and all that it has to offer to its residents year round !! Sunday markets is one our favourites and we are sure to always hit few of the stores at the same time !! Grabbing an ice cream treat from cravings or Frankie’s , some cream puffs for after dinner, checking out all around the house newest home decor items, grabbing some eye back from source for sports ... the list goes on !! I believe it gives tourists and local residents an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone , support the vendors and the businesses!!!! Please don’t take it away !

The Flea Market draws visitors to Goderich every Sunday, its there Sunday outing. If you take the market away, you are losing those visitors to Goderich on those Sundays. I'm a vendor at the Flea Market and love it and enjoy this market. Please kept it, as visitors and vendors alike look forward to it every week.
