The feedback coming in confirms that breed purity matters to a lot of people. Behind the scenes I am gathering documentation to present to the board.

The momentum is incredible. This movement for the forestcats is showing no signs of slowing down.

Let us hope our efforts to keep the natural siberian forest cat will be carried on by future breeders. We need to show them the way. Mixing with blue eyed cats is a nonsense. So many breeds in the past have been perverted.... Don't let it happen with siberian cats. So vote....
I like the differences in the breeds. I mean, it is why we have breeds in the first place. Every pattern in every breed would take away much of the peculiar charme and beauty so typical of each. Therefore yes, no colourpoint in Forestcats. To each his own.
This is not a natural look for these breeds . keep the standard ..............No Masking ......no Gloves and Gaunlets... they need to hide in the leaf litter and in the trees . I vote NO not no not ever !!! if it ever gets to a vote that is ............
Neva is a separate breed, no blue eyes are wild looking or natural breed. Neva is first mixed with Siam (semilong haired) by Hans-Joachim Schulz.
The breeds need to stay as close to natural as possible. The colourpoint gene is not part of that and it should not be in the siberian

There are plenty of pointed cat breeds already; let's leave the forest cats the way nature intended: unmasked!
