After losing the ability to fish from Hastings pier it will be a real shame to lose Eastbourne too. Without AT tackle on the pier there be less incentive for a lot of people to visit Eastbourne pier also.

Angling off the pier is the only reason I go to the pier. Although not as regular as I'd like but it needs to stay.

Keep this going I used to go fishing off the back of the pier with my dad from the age of 6 and now I'm 30

Visited here with a friend on a nice summer day and would hate totting of it gone for the future.

Obviously this man has to run the pier as a business venture, but piers are about tradition as well as everything else and there has been fishing on Eastbourne pier for many many years. I hope he finds a place for it in plans for the future.

Please don`t stop the fishing on the end of the pier, it`s part of Eastbourne`s history, Its a great sport and all ages can do it. Thank you.
