If it is safe and non intrusive why try to ban lots of peoples enjoyment, and even non fishers like to stop and chat.

Please think carefully before ending 150 years of a british tradition. Please take a little time to consider what will be gained by ending the fishing and is it worth bringing an end to a 150 years of tradition.

A tradition that has lasted over 150 years should be allowed to continue for another 150 years. So many young people start their fishing on piers.

Access to fishing around the coast is restricted more and more by development . With 150 years of tradition of fishing on this site it seems stopping the access to fish would be taking away from the future of the pier and not adding to it ! . Or is the idea to build flats on it as has happened to so many other waterside areas ? .
Keep it up
Don't take our fishing!!:0
