Allow fishing, but maybe it has to be shared with boats so perhaps more restrictive times may be the answer

have fished this pier for years with friends and would hate to see it go ,good places are all dwindleing away so please take note of local fishermen

I have fished on Eastbourne pier for 47 years and loved every minute of it. Do not let fishing here come to an end!

piers provide an excellent platform for people of all abilities,let's hope the new owner can work with the community to keep access to the pier end open

Fishing is a great hobby for children and adults. With most of the local piers burnt down this would take away another place to make happy memories. Please dont stop fishing on the pier
