Totally no need to stop fishing from the end of the pier. Fishing from piers is as traditional as the pier itself

Please dont take away the average mans pleasure. What some see as a birth right perhaps? Why not ask the local anglers who use the pier what they would pay per rod per session and per year. Then as a business concern investment can be considered against outlay?

Please keep fishing on this pier I used to fish there as a kid .Give it to kids so they can have what I and others used to.

I have heard what is going to happen to the pier and it really saddeneds me. The history and memorys of great fishing story's past and present must go on.

I spent most of my childhood on Eastbourne pier a lot of the time fishing on the landing stage it would be a disaster to let this heritage be taken away

Be nice to fish Eastbourne pier one part has been repaired just needs the other part to be done many happy days fishing on there lets hope we get fishing back on Eastbourne pier again

We desperately need a pair in Sussex Eastbourne is a great place for it to be for 150 years we have finished from that pair please please do not close it now
