After i was told today that the village is not interested in adding this to the agenda or having a public hearing on rescinding it i asked another question...
When i asked the village why they did not inform Gehl (landowner)about creating the ordinance back in early 2018, i was told:
“Why would we inform him? This incident happened in Delafield, there was no reason to let him know. We created it as preventive measure from it ever happening in Nashotah”
Thats a direct quote from the village.

Bill, Dave mertins will continue to farm the land as he has for the last 50 some years just like his dad. He has a contract with Gehl. They have never used liquid manure cuz he spreads the manure his cattle and pigs produce. The delafield land hasn't had animals on it for 40 years so it needed extra help. Its too bad there were equipment issues.

The soil needs to be fertilized and manure is the best way to do this. There must be a compromise that keeps everyone happy.
We also don't need another subdivision.

We moved to Lake Country because of the beautiful open farm lands. So sad to see Pabst Farms lose all those beautiful trees and open space. Now this! I drive by everyday!

Moved to this area 6 years ago and love it because of the beautiful farms and country feel. If I wanted to be stacked up with houses I would move to New Jersey. We don’t need any more houses in this area. Pabst farm is taking care of that. Let’s come to an agreement!

It never happened in the village of Nashotah. It happened in Delafield and was the result of faulty equipment. Nashotah enacted the ordinance under the radar as a preventive measure. John Gehl has told to my face and others it will not happen again. I believe him.

Allow injection! This was farm land BEFORE development! You should not build by an airport and complain about the noise - just like you should not move to farmland and complain about the odors! Mistakes were made, lessons were obviously learned.

We moved to Nashotah two years ago and we appreciate the fact we live near farmland, have space and are out of the big city. The farmland has been a piece of scenery and history we have appreciated and would like to see be a long standing staple in our community.
We hope to see an agreement be made to keep some, if not all of the farmland.

Why was there no residential discussion on this matter and why is Nashotah not following suit with Delafield and rescinding the ordinance? What additional infrastructure will be added if new homes are built? I.e. schools.....
