I come from a very long line of farmers (some of which farmed in southern Wisconsin). While I did not grow up on a proper farm, we did grow a lot of our own fruits and vegetables on our property when I lived in northern Illinois. As someone who is switching careers and is becoming an Environmental Lawyer who focuses on sustainable agriculture, I recognize the importance and value of family farms, especially those who engage in practices that benefit the planet. Please save this farm and help preserve the environment all while providing quality and nutritious food for our nation. Thank you.

We moved to this are for the open country feel, such as the farm fields, trees and wildlife. I would HATE to see ANOTHER subdivision wreck this beautiful part of Lake Country.

A beautiful piece of property that should be preserved. I love driving past to and from work. Another development will ruin the aesthetic, historic, cultural, and environmental value that can't be replaced.

As a former Nashotah resident, former City of Delafield resident, and supporter of rural lifestyle, I cannot believe the idiocy of the Nashotah council in this decision. Nashotah needs to maintain and protect what few farms haven't been turned into McMansion Fields, and remind the neighbors that the farm was there long before them. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

While I do not live in Nashotah, we recently moved from the city of Delafield down the road from this particular farm. Farmland is an important piece of what makes Lake Country so special. Anymore development (which would ultimately end up going there) would ruin the beauty. It’s already happening in Pabst farms. People come here to enjoy the wildlife, views, lakes. Not the million dollar subdivisions.
