Let the man stay there until he no longer wants to be there!! For God's sake he has been there since I was a little girl, he shouldn't be tossed out like garbage because he's elderly!!

Mr. Ellis, the king of sno-cones, the disciplinarian of Scott Recreation, the band aid deliverer, the keeper of the candy in the closets in the rec room, we should erect a statue of that man who shaped so very many of us from the area. Thank him for his do-gooding by letting him retire out when he wants, as king.

Mr. Ellis made Scott pool what it is. A new pool needed to be installed which means money. And now you want to cut the salary of the man who is the face of Scott pool. Doesn't make sense at all. Cut it somewhere else. People should be ashamed of this!

I have known & loved Mr. Ellis since my elementary school days, as a teacher & at the pool. He gave me confidence when I had none. He made me believe when I couldn't . He always had a smile & words of wisdom. Our community needs these qualities more than ever. It's not about the money, make your changes, but let him not be one of them!

Why in the world would you want to get rid of Mr. Ellis?! He IS the reason for the pool, and why it does so well. When growing up, he was the ONLY reason I wanted to go to the pool.
