I agree that it is a huge waste of money that could be used for infrastructure that East Nashville needs and of course our schools. I love the horns...I find them calming and comforting.

The idea that we would remove a safety mechanism that has been in place for decades because it has become a "nuisance " is beyond me. I'm all for hearing opposing views but at some point we have to step back and ask ourselves what would we rather? A lot of danger or a little discomfort?

Keep the train horns. Not only are they necessary from a safety standpoint, many think they sound beautiful and are an integral part of the fabric of our neighborhoods. We love the horns

I grew up in east nashville and I've always loved hearing the train horn. Not only is it much safer to have them, but it's also a waste of money to change each crossing. Every time the train horn blares I'm taken back to my childhood, and I love that my daughter will have the same memories. Don't get rid of the horns!

How about using $1.5 million to help our homeless population, schools or our infrastructure. Quit Zone is such a waste of money. If they don't like the horns than move away!

This is a rediculous wast of taxpayers' money! Trains need to alert us of their approach.
