I definitely support the Duggars' right to express their opinions and beliefs. I think they are excellent role models for our children. By defending the Duggars, I am not saying that I would not be friends with someone if they told me they were gay, I am just saying that the Duggars have a right to their opinion.

Their show is the one of the very few I allow my kids to see because they are very good examples and how they live their life is inline to my belief even though I am a Mormon and not a baptist. Keep the show!!

God started the humanity with one male, one female. That includes animals, insects, mammals, fish, even certain types of foods are either male or female. It is only the humans that cross the boundaries. Animals don't, insects don't, mammals don't, fish don't, etc, etc. Religion, and speech are freedoms we all have a right to, without forcing those on others. I love the Duggar family and hope more people follow their lifestyle. They are fine examples of how goodness, respect, caring, and faith can work to teach young people basic family values. Keep the Duggars on TLC!!

Disagreeing with something is not equal to "discrimination, hate, and fear-mongering". However, trying to ruin someone's income and livelihood because of their beliefs is completely the definition of "discrimination and hate" and certainly does cause me fear and many other people who believe in marriage between a man and a women to be fearful.

The Duggars are a wonderful family and their show is my favorite. I am a 19 1/2 year old Christian man and just love the way they have raised their children. I hope I will be half as good a father as Jim Bob. The Duggars just set out to share Christ's word and regardless of personal beliefs they are still kind to anyone they meet. Their show should not be cancelled because it offends others. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

Unless you were born an adult there is no way you can be born the way you are now . everyone become the way they are through life influences, happenings and upbringing . I didn't read very much of your comment because it is way to long and makes very little sense. for every study for any subject there is a contradictory study everyone chooses what they want to believe to try to justify their self that is not hate just fact. you can believe what you want but you aren't convincing me.

I enjoy their show and they are allowed to have their own opinions. I don't see their show as hateful, but encouraging.

@Comet First off, I would like to ask why you're so obsessed with the view that homosexuality is a choice and can be changed? I don't understand why a person who isn't gay would care so much. And, as Pastor Ted Haggard said, “The louder and more frequent one's objections to homosexuality are, the more likely one is to be a homosexual.” But anyway, it has been EXTENSIVELY proven that sexuality cannot be changed. The American Psychological Association culled information from nearly every sexual orientation reparation study ever done, and conclusively found that sexuality cannot be changed. The most-referenced study that claims orientation therapy works was later renounced completely by its author, Robert Spitzer. "I believe I owe the gay community an apology for my study making unproven claims of the efficacy of reparative therapy," Spitzer wrote. And do you know the methods used? It involves shock therapy(sometimes to the genitals), being forced to vomit while watching gay porn, and masturbatory reconditioning, all of which are incredibly detrimental to psychological wellbeing, for obvious reasons. Sometimes (though it is quite rare), “corrective rape” occurs, in which a homosexual is forced to sleep with someone of the opposite sex. After a person finishes treatment, they often have depression and lowered self-esteem (Beckstead & Morrow, 2004; Shidlo & Schroeder, 2002). The treatments are so detrimental that California, Illinois, and New Jersey have banned them being used on minors (six other states are also considering similar legislation). Since 1994, the American Physiological Association has called reversion therapy is dangerous and does not work. Anyone who would support such therapy techniques probably needs therapy themselves. The reason there are people who claim reversion therapy has worked is because, while you cannot choose your sexuality, you can choose whether or not to accept your sexuality. Also, the majority of those who claim reversion the
