Keep the Duggars on TLC

Redefining marriage is, in my opinion, beyond the jurisdiction of our government. The government can define civil unions, but not the definition of marriage which was in the beliefs of very many, ordained by God.

I totally understand that the LGBT do not want hate to be spread. However, just because some one disagrees with you does not mean they hate you. People get a grip. We are allowed to disagree with eachother and we are allowed to support causes we feel are important. They have kept this totally separate from the show as far as I am aware, so I'm not sure why taking this show off the air will do any good.

This is one of the best programs! When did this country become so PC that opposing views cannot be tolerated? Guess the only worldview to be disdained and/or prosecuted is that of the Christian. I gladly stand with the Duggars in affirming traditional marriage.

Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are being slowly taken away!

I thought we lived in a country where we were allowed to practice our own beliefs. I guess you can speak for something, you just can no longer speak against something. Hmm loss of freedom of speech in my book. I love the quote you used to defend your beliefs on homosexual couples. Please stand strong and continue to raise the most beautiful faith filled family in America. Our family , a devout Catholic Family with six children, love your show and the example your family sets for all faith filled Christians!! Go Duggars!

It would be unfair to cancel a show because it displays a family with a different view. If someone doesn't like the show, they don't have to watch it.

Even being a member of the LGBTQ community, I fully disagree with this family being targeted. They're not a member of the senate, congress, or any other political body. They have the right to express their opinion and should not be attacked for doing so. This family lives true to a book that guides their spirtuality, and it's fascinating to learn about people with differing lifestyles. It's pop culture media... I am amazed trolls even brought this up in the first place. Vote for change, don't attack other human beings.

Because this basically turned into Christians against Gays and Lesbians I won't be signing the petition. You all keep saying that they're teaching their children the right way to live. Well if that were so true everyone would raise their children how they are. Politics is no place for religion. It's time to for people to accept that. I'm a Christian raised by Catholic parents, which is by far more strict than how the Duggars are. And yet they're accepting of everyone. That's how it's supposed to be. Homosexuality is briefly in the Bible and yet it has created all this hate. Just move on already. If Gays and Lesbians don't have the right to be married than they shouldn't have to pay taxes to this "free" and "equal" country. In fact with how many children the Duggars have chances are that at least one of the is Gay or Lesbian. I have been watching their show for years, but I'm not going to support this. I'd sooner sign the petition to end the show.

Everyone has a right to their own religious belief. Where is this country headed if we allow the LBGTG community to start dictating how we should feel about their lifestyle. Just like you have a right to sleep with whoever you want to, they/we have a right to disagree with it. However, respect is due to all and to my knowledge they have not disrespected this community but only stood for their belief.
