I believe that everyone has there beliefs and NO ONE should be forced to believe in something they don't. they are a very religious family but they don't throw in down people's throats even on there show so why force them to not believe in what they don't believe in.

I love the Duggar family. Thank you for providing my family with a wholesome television show that teaches love, compassion and is something our whole family can watch together. Keep doing what you are doing, Christians have the right to their opinions just as everyone else does. God bless your family!!

I would never seek to treat somebody who is homosexual, or has ANY beliefs different from mine, in a hurtful or disrespectful way. And I truly believe the Duggars wouldn't either. I admire them for taking a stand for what they believe in. I don't know if I would be so quick to shamelessly stand my ground. I hope I would. I don't agree with the Duggars 100% on everything they do, but 19 Kids and Counting is a wonderful TV show that encourages young people and old alike to live a godly life and to do everything for the glory of Jesus Christ. And anyone who doesn't want to watch it... well, they don't have to. It is not fair for this Christian family, these godly examples, to be persecuted for taking a stand for what they believe in.

Regardless of anyone's religious views, they should be free to stand tall and be counted without fear of retribution, petition, or protest. We all do not agree and to hold an opinion and attempt to silence another is just plain wrong. I am tired of all liberal positions being supported by media and others and not tolerating opposing viewpoints. Calling other viewpoints hate speech or discrimination is simply an attempt to silence those opinions that the left does not agree with--they will try to silence opposing views instead of engaging in thoughtful and meaningful discussion. What a shame that the left is so uncomfortable in their own skin that they cannot compete in the arena of ideas.
