"Free speech" as long as you agree with the loudest minority. The Duggars should be admired for their commitment to God, family, financial responsibilities, and their outreach.

freedom of speech should protect everyone not just a particular group of people.

other people want their freedoms but they don't want Christians to have theirs! did TLC learn nothing from the whole Duck Dynasty incident! Christians aren't going to lay down and let their rights get taken away and are going to stick up for other Christians!!!

I believe they are just following their beliefs and should have that right.

The Duggar Family show is popular on the merits the lifestyle they live and the opinions they express. I'm happy with that.

The Duggars have the right to their beliefs and to express their beliefs, as those with differing beliefs have the right to those differing beliefs too. There is no need to attack this family for their stance on traditional marriage, especially when it stems from their religious faith. Just because the Duggars don't approve of the gay lifestyle and belief in traditional marriage, does not mean they HATE gays, nor are they homophobic. They have never showed hatred to the gay community, in fact, I'd argue that the people who posted photos of same-sex kissing on the Duggar's Facebook page were the ones showing disrespect for their faith and well-known beliefs. I am young adult who is not religious, in fact, I have colleagues and people who I know that I'm friendly with who are gay, and I treat them with the same respect that I treat any straight person. Yet, I share the Duggars belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman. In a democracy we are entitled to vote on these issues, and majority rules. When I vote, I vote based on my true beliefs, which I am entitled too, and if the outcome is in my favour, great, if it isn't, I respect that. Yet, somehow my beliefs on traditional marriage have caused others to automatically and unfairly attack me as being homophobic and being hateful. This is so unfair. I would never attack those who do support gay marriage, so why is it okay for them to attack us? I admire the Duggars for being brave and standing up publicly for what they believe in. I rarely share my beliefs anymore, because of the unfair and sometimes cruel response. I hope TLC will not be pressured to take this family off air because they have differing beliefs. TLC is known to show a variety of different families with a variety of different beliefs. Some I share, some I don't. But I the watching the variety of these families and their different life styles. If individuals don't like it, they have the right to turn the TV off and not view it. In the real w

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. If you don't agree with the Duggers beliefs don't watch the show... It's really that easy. I believe in equal rights but this is discrimination, the same discrimination that is trying to get this family off the air. Get over it and move on! Team Dugger!!

They should have the right to believe what they want and express it to others. It's wrong that people who are pro gay marriage can be open about their believes but they have to be silent! No double standards!
