I do support the Duggars point of view and think they demonstrate values. I have no problem with gay commitments but personally don't support gay marriages. I have not problem with the lifestyle that individuals chose but do not support marriage in a church. If the government wants to provide them with access to benefits because they are committed, fine with me as well. This is American and everyone is entitled to a point of view.

There are shows on tv with views that differ from mine and I just don't watch the show. This is the United States of America. We can disagree and it doesn't mean we hate anyone. Why should the LGBT dictate what everyone else is allowed to view or think.

You're right. You don't have to accept it. The issue is that she has a responsibility as a public figure. The voice message that she paid to go to all of the phones in a community spread a message that grouped pedophiles with people who believe they were in essence born in the wrong body (ie transgender). THAT is what has so many people upset. The law that was passed was an anti-discrimination law that included transgender people. (I listened to the call and read the law.)

I am an athiest and do not believe what the Duggars believe. I also dated a transgendered man a few years ago, however I feel that people have the right to their opinions and just like I would never be able to make the Diggers feel differently about gay people, they could never make me believe in Christianity. I am a supporter of the show and if I dont like something I know I can always turn to another channel.

Keep this show! Its one of the only wholesome good reality shows out there that my 3 teenage boys watch with me. It has taught them so much about how to be good young men.
