The prek program at duff is really convenient to many. It can be such a hassle for families with multiple children to have to get their children when the kids attend separate schools. The teachers that run this program are amazing and two of my 3 kids were incredibly fortunate to have had them.

This is the first school experience for these kids. To change their teachers and/or the building where they go to class will be scary and detrimental to the students. Please reconsider.

If this program is closed, more kids will have to go to schools that, perhaps, may be already crowded or may have to further strain their resources to accommodate more children in their program. Keeping a good early education accessible to already hard-working parents is crucial to kids' brain development. Please keep this program functioning! Thanks.

it would be such a shame to take away the Pre School program at Duff! I attended Duff from third through sixth grade and can attest to how amazing Duff is. I was hoping my son would attend pre-school next school year and wanted him to start at Duff.

I am an alum of Duff Elementary who participated in the Pre K Program. This was one of the only programs my parents could put me in due to financial restraints. My educational experience would have been delayed it is wasn't for the Pre K program at Duff.

I attended duff in pre k all the way through 6th grade. It eased my transition and let me know what was expected of me from an early age. It was also great on my single working mom knowing I was somewhere gaining knowledge instead of a baby sitter.

I truly believe this program should NOT be taken away from those kids! We need more schools that offer a Pre-K program to where we don't have to drive our kids an additional X amount of miles because for some reason AISD decides to end the program! The kids are already there and are getting comfortable and excited about be a part of school and the start to their life! Please reconsider closing this program. Thanks

I support this petition. Please stop making decisions based on numbers. The school district is ruining education with that mindset.

Did not see myself as having a Pre K student, but circumstances have brought me to have a grandson enrolled in this program. For all that is disrupted in his life at present, I worked hard to get him on board, excited, and driven toward school. He is in love, excited daily to arrive, and positively loves his teacher and assistant. I finally relaxed and now you want him to go through this disruption which is being called a "smooth transition". I cannot relate the ramifications that appear on his and my horizons as a result of this decision.
