Help keep these flea bag dogs off our beach. They will run loose, and only create problems for the residents. People now have their dogs off leash, AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOG ON THE BEACH......

I love dogs but not on the beach. Don't want to step in their poop and there are too many people who might approach dogs and get bit. Also the dogs could get loose and hurt someone. Many people are afraid of dogs Not a good idea for Long Beach in my opinion.

Please keep dogs off boardwalk and beach. Some people are not responsible and do not clean up after their dogs.

There are many dog owners that are not responsible. This would be the end of our beautiful beach. Why can't they make a clean and safe dog run .

Maybe a special dog beach: but not on every beach!!! Some have allergies and fears, not to mention the poop that no one picks up.

They will be coming from all over to give their dogs a "run" on the beach!

Improve the existing dog parks. Do not allow dogs, due to some irresponsible dog owners, to destroy our beautiful beach.

If some, perhaps just a few, don't pick up after their dogs poop on a street in front of someones house, do you really think they will do so on the big empty beach?

I am afraid of loose dogs- don't need them running wild on the beach while I am walking/ children are running and leaving their mess behind
what happens when dogs start attacking the seagulls - scary thought
bad idea!!!

Love dogs, but I can't tell you how many time I have to clean up near my house..the last thing I want is to worry about where I step on the sand. I don't trust people will clean up after their dogs..

I just do not have faith that people have enough respect to implement this properly. If Long Beach were a private beach, instead of public, it might work. If you look at the beaches from National to Monroe (where most of the non-residents tend to go) at the end of a nice brach day, it is carpetted with trash, and this honestly breaks my heart. Non-residents have no sense of stewardship and already treat our beach like a dump. Adding dogs and dog waste will not be a good idea, however unfortunate. I want my dogs to enjoy the beach, but more I do not want others to ruin the beach.

Love dogs. But there are more people that will never clean up. Frankly I don't want to have to worry where I step, sit or lay down. Instead have a doggy park with beach like scenery and sand. Confined. Monitored and can do serving about those that don't clean up after their dogs

No Dogs on the Beach! A bunch of loser moms started a dumb petition and think they're celebrities. Dogs will crap and pee everywhere and owners won't pick it up. Bad dogs will attack children. NO THANK YOU.

Some are afraid. Some allergic. They run loose owners have no regard for others and they leave liquid and solid waste behind.

I trust that most residents would pick up after their dogs but I see how the out of towners leave garbage on our beaches and in our streets. I'll pass on giving them the opportunity to leave dog shit too.
Keep dogs off!!!
