I am so frazzled that people who aren't educated about the rebel flag, and what it TRULY stands for have their panties in a wad. Instead of following in their footsteps, stand up an educate them the true meaning of the flag with pride. Just because negative people steal a concept and make it their own doesn't make it true. The General Lee, wont be the General without the flag. Anyone who has watched the show knows it stands for the true meaning and not what the negative people say it stands for. GET EDUCATED BEFORE YOU ASSUME!

This is a tv show based on whisky and is a part of our history. Can't just change our history its meaningful to ppl.
Ppl need to grow up and know it isn't things that are wrong and hateful it's the your up bringing and ppl who are so hateful.

Removing this flag from such an icon makes no sense.

There was never any racism or hatred on the Dukes of Hazzard, particularly from Bo and Luke who owned and drove the General Lee. The car and it's paint job / decorations was an homage to a real life whiskey smuggler who drove a car named after General Lee's horse "Traveler".
Leave the flag on the car. It has nothing to do with a racist scumbag in 2015 South Carolina.

The Duke boys never once endorsed the negative values that people associate with the flag. The flag adds character to the General Lee and by removing it you are essentially killing off the character and its legacy.

The Dukes of Hazzard was a huge part of my childhood and there was nothing racist about the show ever. If we take the flag off the General Lee - then we should ban certain movies, games, music - where do we draw the line in the sand? Please keep the flag on the General Lee

Our freedom is being taken away because of the actions of some nut jobs in the world. The Dukes of Hazzard is one of the best wholesome family programs ever created. And because of recent events they are punishing the fans over the General Lee. This world needs to wake up and focus on the real issues going on.

The car and the show never represented slavery or racism and it is a historic icon of a car that many of my friends loved and the show. Most of my friends and me are saying this whole thing is blown out of proportion. All of my black friends and white totally agree.if some people don't like so be it they don't have to buy it or watch the show.
