It wouldn't be the General Lee if not the Dixie flag. People need to get over this crazy things that happened before our times. Not a single soul out here in this world was living back then.Need to get over it.People living now don't have anything to do with what happened back then. Leave the General Lee as is.General Lee is what made the show. Keep the shows coming on Cmt. I love it! Hope this will help!

The flag has nothing to do with black or white it is a flag of our history, a lot of good things happened here, slavery was one thing we all wish never happened. But the confederation stood for more than slavery.

For Pete's sake! Really?? Of course the flag has to stay. It's The General Lee. The Confederate flag is a part of history whether you like it or not. It's also certainly a part of "The General Lee". I really can't believe this is even up for debate. Keep the flag!!

The flag on a fictitious car must be removed.Yet, Margaret Sanger is venerated with a statue in the Smithsonian. A woman who was a racist and a eugenist. She disdained working class whites and minorities. Just like corporate america does.We get it.

The flag should stay on the general it's part of the car and have been for over 30years ! and no show can replace the originals cast members!! they had value which the remake don't have. They don't show the dukes for what they stood for .

Please keep the flag on the General Lee. It could NEVER be the General Lee without it and by no means would ever be the same. I as well as many would agree that any show that depicts the General lee without the flag would certainly be lame and likely to be enjoyed the same.

We have to keep it! It's more than just a x with some stars on it! It's a symbol of Southern importance! If you take the flag off of the car, then it's just a orange piece of metal with a windshield! Do not remove it!
