THIS PLACE SAVES LIVES

I recently finished a program at Portage / The Crossing and since having graduated, my life has been forever changed, the staff and community at that program are incredible. I believe this place has the capacity to change millions of lives, I say this because not only has it changed my life but it has changed the lives of everyone I interact with in my daily life. One last comment, not only will shutting down the crossing effect those struggling with active addiction coming into such a beautiful program, it will also effect the hundreds of us that have been through the program (graduated or not) because once you enter Portage, you never leave the family. You are always welcome to call back and get advice and support from the staff whenever needed, this has been a huge asset for me (before the closing) as well as many of my fellow Portage brothers and sisters. Do not close the crossing, it will devastate hundreds.
