If you take it down it is in violation of the 1st amendment. " Freedom of Speech". Did you swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America?
Also if you take it down because it represents racism. Then so should the American flag, many hate/racist groups have used the American flag also.

This is America's heritage. This is the souths history. Black men carried this flag. They fought for there freedom defending this flag. Its not a racial flag. Learn your history ppl.

Why change history now, if the haters would read up on history , there is no racism in this flag as of history, what some people did in the past in the name of this flag, is racism, I'm from the north live in the south support the confederate flag and would proudly fly it along with the American flag , I'm proud to be an American northerner living in the south.

the confederate flag is an insigna of our heritage not something that stands for any kind of hate toward any race. It's part of history

I believe our flag is a sign of resolution for the southern states. Although crimanls may have abused the flag over tim, It should never be considered a racial flag, it should only be seen as a sign of Courage,Honor and heritage by any color. All colors were involved on both sides. Our ancestors would be enraged,if they knew we let our own govonor(Nikky Haley!) Take away what our families died for. I believe Nikky Haley is trying to do this for her own selfish reasons. Southern heritage will never be fogotten and althoughs who died for the rebel flag will not be disrespected. No matter what color you are if you are from southern state you should stand for what you belive.
