To apply today's logic to something that happened over 400 years ago defies logic. To erase the past will only prove to rewrite the future.

There is absolutely no reason to remove and/or rename Christopher Columbus Circle. Honor the indigenous people and others with their own statue and street or circle. Italians Americans have been discriminated against as well. You can't change history. We are the human race and none of us are perfect. If we didn't have history we wouldn't be here today. You can find fault with every human being and every group. We need to change how we think and how we treat each other as humans today.
