Leave it alone. My ancestors put it there 86 years ago with their hard earned money. It represemts their sacrifice. If you remove it put a turd there in its place to represent our present weak city leadership.

Mayor, You have enough problems with crime, potholes, decaying neighborhoods, etc...that’s what you need to focus on! Pretty soon we’ll be like Rochester & other liberal cities if you continue down this path.

I am of the opinion that the Columbus Monument should not be removed. It is a tribute to the Italian-Americans in the Syracuse Community. There must be a way for the other groups as well as the Italian Americans be a part of this.
