Take this all the way to the US Supreme Court if necessary. Who does Ben Walsh think he is. It's ok to have a statue showing juvenile delinquents shooting out the red light on a traffic light? Don't mess with Italians. We are passionate people who will fight at all costs to keep our heritage alive and sacred.

We live in Utica, New York and they also tried to take down our Columbus Statue a few years ago. Luckily our representatives gave their support to keep the statue and it is still standing on the Parkway. I would hope in Syracuse your representatives would do the same thing. I do know that several people who were starting this petition and effort were not even from our area. Save this statue! Mary L. Batson

These architectural monuments are part of the history of the United States.One politician should not be allowed to destroy history.Mayor Walsh should spend taxpayer money on causes that benefit the community.We have greater problems in our city to solve.

Keep the Italian Artwork Statue & the Columbus Circle as is! It will become an encampment for illegals. Leave our Columbus Circle alone.

yes , they need to stop tearing down historic structures. Mayor Walsh allows logos painted on the street and Hugh murals to support others, but won’t support our history.
