Hahaha! Rubin? Yeah...Great choice! The guy talked to me and my son numerous times from K-1. He couldn't even remember our names. I don't think he even knew my son went to that school! He never once visited the classroom and was unresponsive to emails. I hope you (whomever you are since you call yourself Albert Einstein) had a better experience with Rubin because ours sucked!

Did anyone vet Jay before hiring him. Did the board every hear of Google?

Jay's only accomplishment was to provide a facade to the patents, board, and students. Now's the time to select a good leader. Good luck Bridges. Perhaps Rubin wants to come back.

Jay was approachable, thoughtful and a fair leader. He greeted parents and children by name, and his door was always open. He was removed without any explanation given to the parents by the school board. He believed in our school and tried hard to follow the Whole Child approach to education. He had excellent goals for the future of our school. Good luck to those making decisions -like removing Jay - in finding yet another person to try to lead this school.

Jay was advised more than once that our relationship with treeeing.com was not in line with the district as far as security and privacy goes, and did not understand how to protect our children's privacy once advised that treering.com freely provided our entire roster (as well as every other school roster provided to them across the country) to anyone without the need to use the passcode provided to our school by treering.com. He took no responsibility for the actions of the PAC and did not oversee any necessary due diligence before allowing our school roster to be handed over to treering.com. For that one lack of action alone, and for how much harm may have been done because of it, he should go and not be allowed to be in a position of authority over any sensitive data in the future, especially data of minors.

Jay is an invaluable asset to Bridges. His commitment, compassion and dedication to our children's education is irreplaceable. Depriving our school of his presence has created a void on our campus that is nothing short of injustice. We are awaiting his expeditious return.

In working with Jay he never wavered from the focus being on the child, all the children. He understood whole child education better than many teachers and aadministrators who had been at Bridges for years.
