How else are our UK breeders able to show case the quality and breed type they have worked so hard to sustain.

Yes we must keep the 'Breeder competition', without good Breeders and the new 'novices Breeders' seeing their stock, there would be no Dog Shows with outstanding specimens of the various breeds in attendance. People need to see good 'Type', so they can decide what avenue they want to go down in their breeding programme. So yes, the Breeder Competition needs to stay.

It's a total mistake of the KC to remove the breeders stakes event and finals from the show calendar and crufts .. In s time when the KC are trying to encourage and promote responsible Breeders breeding dogs that are fit for function what better way to showcase this than the finals ! We have supported the event since day one and were I fact the first ever qualifiers thru the old pedigree system ! I am 110% behind this petition

Good showcase for good breeders and also puts out awareness to the general public about good breeding and the Kennel Clubs checks to ensure a future puppy's health and well-being

As a photographer at dog shows I can whole heartedly say that the KC have made a huge mistake in abolishing the breeders competition and they need to rectify this immediately. We need to celebrate the consistency and quality of UK breeders and there is no better way !!!
