Horrendous Mistake to Close this Offramp. No way to get back if you make a mistake. Imagine having to go all the way to Highland Ave...a one way street, in front of the Hollywood Bowl. It's already a mess there and this would cause unbelievable stress for drivers. Please, lets fight this and do not let Universal win as though the people that live in the neighborhood and all the small business's don't matter.

the s. bound barham off ramp is heavily used, think what will happen when the cars that used to use it now have to merge with the traffic of other off ramp regulars.

The local residents and surrounding community are already significantly impacted by traffic which is already a NIGHTMARE- Between the communters going to and from Universal Studios Warner Bros Studios, Hollywood Bowl, John Anson Ford, Dolby Theatre, Hollywood and Highland and now the UNIVERSAL EVOLUTION PLAN to build 3 more Hotels with 500 rooms EACH on their Property will further devastate the traffic crisis! LEAVE THE RAMPS ALONE! We need you to expand the fwy and expand the ramps not Remove them.

Universal and Cal Trans need to go back to the drawing board and consult with the local residents that were never notified. The highland on and offf ramps already exceed capacity and with no inlet or outlet will create critical traffic impacts that will further devastate the surrounding communities!! WE MUST STOP THEM IN COURT

If this closure goes through, this will be the only stretch on the entire 101 Freeway where exits are not a mile apart. These exists will be 2 1/2 miles apart and in a very congested area of Los Angeles... and solely for the benefit of NBC/Universal.

Closing the Barham off ramp will be terrible for our neighborhood and add more traffic on Cahuenga that will be awful for all that live in the area.

it will be an impossible situation, for an already congested area

I have lived in this area for 30 years and cannot believe Caltrans and Universal find it appropriate to close a vital artery to our homes. Closing this ramp will plunge us into a quagmire of traffic simply to get to our homes. This is not a positive development, it is big business twisting it's power and playing a distorted role in the community.
Keep this ramp open
