That is a critical access point for that area. Closing it would be a huge burden on that area.

This will massively screw up mine and other businesses as Hollywood Bowl traffic will only get worse each year. This will essentially murder many other businesses that rely on that exit as well. As usual. Stupidity always wins in the end.

Please don't close this, it's so convent to ,y house. Having to get off further down during traffic hour will just add more time to my drive home.

The time that it takes to get from the Lankershim exit to Barham ramp they stated is only 1 extra minute is false. Try making that drive during the summer, winter holidays, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Week-end, and during the entire summer. Universal contributes piddling amounts to the local elementary school, Valley View, and then expects us to all see them as a good neighbor. They are not even incorporated into the city so we see no benefits from taxes to the surroundiing battered streets.

This proposed closure is absurd. Traffic exiting the 101 southbound at Barham is either bound for the adjacent neighborhoods or down the Barham Blvd hill into the San Fernando Valley. Having all those cars exit at Lankershim and drive over a mile to Barham or to their neighborhood streets would jam already impossibly-jammed surface streets. It's insane and makes no sense. I don't see how it helps anyone, even Universal. This off ramp should remain open!

This is an important & essential exit. No way should it be closed. It's always been an exit to Burbank and to the San Fernando Valley long before the freeway system was built.
Utterly barking mad idea!
